Its true that if we upload files is easier to keep these files alive. If we use only links their source could be erased.
By the other hand, if we post a link beliving that is really legal sheet music, and something becomes clear for the oposit, is just a link and is easier to correct the mistake. In my oppinion the idea of wiki is one good thing because everyone can contribute, everyone can contribute baddly, but avery one cand correct also.
